The Best Part of Us received its fifth award, this time from Readers' Favorite International Book Awards, the Silver Medal for Literary Fiction. Books from international, national and independent publishers are considered, so it's an honor to receive this award.
The 15th Annual National Indie Excellence Awards honored The Best Part of Us in three categories: Finalist for New Fiction, Finalist for Best Regional Fiction: Midwest, and the coveted Juror's Choice Award, chosen this year by multiple award winner and New York Times best-selling author J. Ryan Stradal.
The Story Circle Network has announced its 2020 winners for its two awards, the Sarton and the Gilda. The Sarton honors May Sarton, who is remembered for her contributions to women's literature as a memoirist, novelist, and poet. The award is given for historical and for contemporary fiction. The Best Part of Us was awarded a Silver Medal as a finalist for the Sarton Award for Contemporary Fiction.
